A liquid crystal layer in 32°N lenses can vary its optical power dynamically. When it’s turned off, it’s fully transparent, allowing you to see deep into the distance, exactly like traditional sunglasses. It switches to your selected reading magnification power when you swipe to turn it on.
READING MAGNIFICATION POWER THAT IS PROGRAMMABLE AND FLEXIBLE
When you swipe your glass, you have complete control over the reading magnification power that will be applied. The initial reading magnification power of your eyewear is decided during a quick setup process with 32°N’s dedicated phone app. The reading magnification power can be adjusted at any time.

CHARGE FOR THE WHOLE DAY
32°N Liquid crystal lenses consume a small amount of electricity. Between charges, the rechargeable batteries in the glasses temples can power the spectacles for a whole day. When it is in reading mode, it uses energy. The glasses come with a charging wire that connects to most phone chargers through a regular USB socket. If the power runs out, the lenses will turn off, leaving the sunglasses transparent.
